One of my favorite activities is teaching a kid's afterschool class at our local elementary school. I just started another six week session this Spring. Each class we put together a 12" x 12" one page or two page layout and a project. This "About Me" layout was our first layout - it features a mix of For Always and Dakota papers (base paper), Cricut Artiste cut letters, and the Card Puzzle stamp set. The girls were so excited about it and it's been one of my favorites!

November SOTM Blog Hop with "Capture The Date"
Welcome to my Scrapi Blog. If you've come from the talented Gina Brandstetter's blog for the November Stamp of the Month "Capture the Date" blog hop, you are in the right place! This stamp set is a must-have to suit all of your scrapbooking needs, whether it's for a card, party invite, seasonal project or layout.
My favorite part of the stamp set is the "Life. Experience It" memo, especially the fact that it coordinates with the Cricut Artiste cartridge. It immediately made me think about a sports layout for one of my kids. My 11 year old daughter Haley's Freedom Travel Basketball pictures were perfect for my layout ideas, combining this stamp set with "Game On."
The paper used is a combination of Dakota and Scholastic, with Outdoor Denim and Cranberry cardstock. The "FREEDOM" was cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy and adhered to the Notable Alphabet Dimensional Elements. For the "Life. Experience It" stamp, I chose the Artiste shape on the same page with the notebook edge to coordinate with the Scholastic zip strip I used. The "Game On" is stamped on one of the Quote Dimensional Elements. Additional embellishments include outdoor denim ribbon and corrugated chipboard stars from the Milepost Shapes. The layout itself is from the "Make It From Your Heart" Volume I.

| Finally, I used a flip flap as shown above (my absolute favorite CTMH product) because I just couldn't leave out any pictures. I think it went perfectly, especially with the added details of the notebook edge from the Scholastic zip strip. I love the picture on the right - how Haley has her hand on her Dad, who was helping that day, while her Coach is talking! Sweet. I hope you like my layout, and I'd love if you wanted to leave me a comment! Make sure you add this stamp set to your collection this month. It's the perfect set to have on hand. With any $50 order, you will receive for only $5 from your CTMH consultant, or order here!
