"Happy Day" Layout - Still Can't Get Enough of Dotty
Here is another fun layout that my kid's afterschool class created using the can't-get-enough CTMH Dotty paper and Cricut Art Philosophy star shapes. So simple but fun. Just love the colors! Of course, they loved embellishing with lots of bling bling.

"About Me" Layout - Mix of CTMH For Always and Dakota
One of my favorite activities is teaching a kid's afterschool class at our local elementary school. I just started another six week session this Spring. Each class we put together a 12" x 12" one page or two page layout and a project. This "About Me" layout was our first layout - it features a mix of For Always and Dakota papers (base paper), Cricut Artiste cut letters, and the Card Puzzle stamp set. The girls were so excited about it and it's been one of my favorites!

Chantilly "Easter" Layout and Monogrammed Tag
I used the gorgeous Chantilly paper to create two projects for my March Scrapi Sisters Team dinner. The first is an Easter one page layout which also features shapes from the Cricut Artiste cartridge for the Easter title and grass and the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge for the circle mats for the cute egg stamp from "Easter Wishes" stamp set. I used CTMH's alcohol markers to color in the images, and used some pink glitter gems, pin clip and ribbon to finish the layout!

The second project is a tag cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge as well as the flower image. The stamp is one of the Monogrammed stamps which I LOVE so much. I bought the whole collection and I have used it for so many projects!! I gave this to my Mom for her birthday to use as a bookmark but it makes a beautiful gift tag too!

New Product Blog Hop for Spring/Summer 2013 CTMH Idea Book
This new Idea Book is filled with so many treasures! I am a huge CTMH addict and a very happy one with so much fun stuff to play with over the new few months. Deciding what to create for this hop was so difficult and focusing on one item was just too hard. I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with too because there are so many new items that I can't wait to play with like the new Kraft Container, the Clear Pillow Boxes, both Small and Large Paper Creations and the 6"x6" Canvas Display. I could go on and on but I will just stop and show you the following, which are three different projects that I wanted to showcase, all listing the new products being used:
1). Later Sk84 One Page Snow Layout - I thought the splashes of white on the Later SK84 design was perfect for snow with the Slate, Pear and Lagoon cardstock and inks. I sneaked in a little bit from the "Dotty" pack because I loved the lagoon polka dots with this paper and the NEW Washi Slate Polka-Dot Tape and the NEW Buttercup polka-dot Chantilly Textiles. I was dying to use the NEW Spinners and Wheel of Life stamp set and I thought it was fun with this layout. I finished it up with the Canvas Letters, inked black, and the Black and Grey Assortment Sparkles. The stamp set I used is the Snowflakes stamp set that coordinates with the Cricut AP.
2). Chantilly Two 2-Page Layouts - I loved planning with Chantilly so much that I go carried away and came up with two layouts, both of which I will now use for my March layouts. Besides the NEW Chantilly paper, the layouts feature the NEW Chantilly Complements Dimensional Elements, NEW Chantilly Assortment, NEW Pink Glitter Gems, NEW Blush Small Floral Chantilly Textiles (see top right on 2nd layout for flower) and NEW Hollyhock Zipper Lace (also 2nd layouts).
3). For Always "Family" Bracket Frame - My frame features the NEW black polka-dots For Always Textile, NEW Black Shimmer Trim, NEW Girls Rock stamp set (flower top left and bottom right) and Black Glitter button from the NEW Black Assortment Buttons. The "Family" is stamped with the Trinity Alphabet and everything is cut using the Cricut AP Cartridge. For full details on this frame, click here. Inspired by fellow blog hop contributor Wendy Kessler and CTMH consultant Kathy Skipper.
Thank you for looking. I hope you like my artwork and take a moment to leave me a comment, which are so fun to see!

My Creations Bracket Frame with Gorgeous "For Always" Paper
This month my workshops will be featuring the gorgeous "For Always" paper from CTMH's NEW 2013 Spring/Summer Idea Book!! Here is a project I've made for next month's Sip 'N Scrap with the My Creations Bracket Frame.
I cut the "For Always" Floral paper with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge at 10 3/4" with the Fit To Page setting and then traced and cut out the inside mat area with my craft knife. The edge of the photo mat is 1/4" strips of black cardstock. The "Family" flag shapes are cut at 1 1/4" inch for the black mat and 1" for the white daisy and letters are stamped with the "Trinity Alphabet" stamp set. Under the "family" flaps is a strip of the Silver Shimmer Trim.
The inside white daisy base is cut at 9" x 9" (with a piece of chipboard also cut at 9" x 9" for the backing). The double mat is the back of the floral "For Always" with slate and white daisy cardstocks in the center.
Here are closeups of the embellishments:
On the top left, I cut a AP flower in the slate (so easy to make with my new CTMH Quilling tool). The flower shape is cut with the AP and stamp is from the new "Girls Rock" stamp set. The third flower is made using our new "For Always Textiles". All I did was punch a 1 1/4" cardstock circle, then used the template to trace four circles on the fabric. I folded each circle over twice, using a little liquid glass, then pieced all four together on my circle template. I finished it off with the black tulle and some bling!
On the bottom right is a matching flower from "Girls Rock" stamp set, an AP cut flower with the Handwriting themed "For Always" paper, a black glitter button from the new Buttons Black Assortment, and a fun shape in slate cardstock with the AP cartridge.
Thanks to CTMH Consultants Kathy Skipper and Wendy Kessler for their beautiful Bracket Frame artwork inspiration!

"Home Sweet Home" February Blog Hop
Welcome to my Scrapi blog for February's "Home Sweet Home" February CTMH Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! Thanks for stopping by after checking out Shirley Ross' beautiful artwork.
I LOVE this month's stamp set because I see at at least four fabulous scrapbook layouts plus the possibility of incorporating partial pieces of the four main stamps in this set for additional layouts. Not to mention the tons of home decor possibilities using the Bracket Frame and Star which easily come to mind, and so many other projects using some of the cool new My Creations pieces featured in the new Idea Book. I am hoping other participants in this blog hop have the same idea and will showcase these projects!
My artwork uses the NEW Buzz and Bumble paper packet, Buzz and Bumble My Stickease and Buzz and Bumble My Assortment plus the NEW Brown Glitter Paper and NEW Brown and Tan Sparkles. I combined Outdoor Denim cardstock with the Goldrush cardstock and Sunset cardstocks to give the papers a brighter look. The brown glitter paper mat for the "home" stamp was cut using the AP Cricut cartridge. The papers are distressed with my cocoa distressing ink and I used 3-D tape to pop up some of the stickers. I hope you like it and I'd love to have your comments!!
As you'll be reading a lot through this blog, this stamp set is available for only $5 with a $50 order, which will not be difficult to do with the all-new ridiculous crazy CTMH Spring/Summer 2013 Idea Book and the new Studio J February special* ($5 for a two-page layout throughout the month of February). If you do not have a CTMH consultant and want to purchase this incredible set right this minute, check out the new Idea Book or register for free to play on Studio J, click here!
To continue on in this Blog Hop, click here and you'll go to one of my favorite people and teammate Michelle Jones blog. I am sure she will wow you with whatever she has come up with this month!
Or, keep going for more artwork using Buzz and Bumble, and come back to click for Michelle Jones blog.
I was having so much fun playing with this new Buzz and Bumble paper and super fun My Stickease Assortment that I went ahead and put two more layouts together. I'll be honest, of all the new paper packets from the new Idea Book, Buzz and Bumble was the one I was most hesitant about. Although I think the neutral and subdued look is timeless and beautiful, it's not necessarily my style. My goal was to create layouts that would showcase the papers and stickease to be a bit brighter than as shown in the new Idea Book. I found that using the cocoa cardstock and cocoa patterned B&T as accents rather than as a base gave the papers a younger look - perfect for me to add pictures of my 12 year old daughter Haley and her friends. Besides the Buzz and Bumble paper packet, stickease, assortment and sparkles, I used the new Wooden Mini-Medley Accents, a small AP Cricut cut shape (below, part of scalloped circle). I further embellished both the layout above and below with 3-D tape - love the look of the 3-D photo mats and laying the stickers. To brighten the layouts, I used Pear and Honey cardstock for layout #2 above, and to give a different look matching the stickers, Garden Green as base with Sunset cardstock for layout #3 below (sorry about the crooked pic for this layout!).
Thanks for looking!!
