"Celebrate" with a July Blog Hop

Hope you enjoyed checking out Sheila Bennett's "Celebration" creations, and thanks for stopping by my Scrapi Traci blog for a look at my artwork with July's "Celebration" Stamp Set.
As you probably know by now, the blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around the fabulous participating Close To My Heart consultants. If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here.

Now on to my creations - not just one, not two but three scrapbook layouts using the "Celebration" stamp with the Fanfare kit because I just couldn't not use Fanfare with this stamp set. It's so much fun! Take a look . . .
Celebration Layout #1:  I love how this layout turned out - from the "flag tag" I made to the embossed accents and stamped star dimensional elements.  I finished it off with Fanfare Level 2 Assortment Brads and Blue Collection buttons.  It couldn't have been more perfect that my son's team was the Nationals this past Spring!
Celebration Layout #2 - With this layout, I had fun making my own "Let Freedom Ring" Star paper and stamping with Pacifica in first and second generation.  The small starburst stamp accent is perfect with our circle punch and 3-D tape.  I stamped the big star stamp on the star dimensional elements again (love it!), and I made another tag using the America Stamp and outdoor denim ribbon.  What I love even more about our Blog Hop, is it makes me get my pages done.  I'm excited to have last year's 4th of July scrapbooked even before this year's event! Wahoo!

3rd and Final Layout - I just couldn't stop playing with this stamp set and Fanfare. I created the layout above for one of my Scrapi Day Camps.  It's simple but super fun for the girls!

Well, that's it.  I hope you liked my layouts and that you'll take the time to comment. I'd really LOVE if you'd become one of my followers, to help me increase my numbers!

My Creation Display Album Perfect with Fanfare

I needed a quick present for my Mom and CTMH's My Creation's Display Album and a Fanfare Level 1 Kit were the perfect choices.  (I am sooo going to miss these Level 1 kits when CTMH takes them away at the end of the year.  I'm determined to use as many as I can until then!!)

Take a look at my finished present.  I put pictures on some of the pages, but left the other ones blank so my Mom could choose her own pictures, like maybe her other grandkids.

As you'll see,  I used lots of fun CTMH embellishments from ribbon, buttons to dimensional elements, and included some stamping besides the stickers and paper from the Fanfare Level 1 kit.  I hope you enjoy!!

"Fire Up the Grill" End of Year Teacher Card

I loved how this card turned out for my daughter Haley's 4th Grade Teacher.  The class contributed to a basket of grill goodies and a gift certificate, and I made this card to go with it all. It opened up to a list of names from the families participating!  Sorry the picture quality isn't great - nothing like capturing a quick photo in the car on the way to the event - such a Scrapi thing to do!
I used the Creative Basics Cherry-O, currently on my website for only $3 (regulary $7.95, for 12 sheets of adorable B&T paper. Six sheets of the plaid as featured above, and an additional six sheets of super cute brown polka dot, plus some cool ribbon).  The stamp set I used is the new SUMMER DAYS and I used the sweet leaf, chocolate, and Tulip inks.  The ribbon is from the Chocolate Collection, the brads from the Metal Collection, and photo hangers from an older CTMH accents collection!

Just perfect for a male teacher!!!  He was really touched by it all, and I received a ton of compliments on my card from the Mom's attending the party. Fun!

"Celebrate" Graduation Card

A super quick and easy card I made for a very special graduating senior! I used gorgeous paper from the CTMH's Emporium Creative Basics, which I just got for an unbelivable clearance price in the "while supplies last section". Just LOVE great deals on great products.

I used one of my favorite stamp sets, "Be Yourself",  perfect salutation stamp sets, "Card Chatter" and "Salutation Seals" plus used the coordinating vineyard berry ribbon that came in the set, and Twilight and Vineyard inks. Sparkles from the Blue & Green Collection finished the look!

A Papercrafting Guru

I think this just might be the coolest get-well present I've ever received, or even seen for that matter!  My fabulous teammate, Michelle Auten, gave me this incredible masterpiece to cheer me up this week during a miserable bout of a nasty sinus infection.  What a super surprise!  I quickly had to take a picture of it before using its much-needed contents! Thanks Michelle - you are the best, and truly a papercrafting guru!!!

June is a FANFARE Month

Each month I think the kit I'm working on just might be my favorite CTMH kit, then I move on to another kit and I'm convinced it's my new favorite.  Since this month is Fanfare and the kit is fabulous, of course, I now think it's my favorite. The moral of this story . . . you just can't go wrong with a CTMH kit!!

Since Fanfare is so much fun, my classes this month will be putting together not just two layouts but three layouts for 6 total pages!!  The papers are so versatile that each of my layouts worked perfectly for three different events . . . fun summer pics, my daughter's 10th bday party and end of year Girl Scout party! Take a look:

Layout #1 - Summer Time Fun

Layout #2 - Happy 10th Birthday!!
Layout #3 - End of Year Girl Scout Party
