"Fire Up the Grill" End of Year Teacher Card

I loved how this card turned out for my daughter Haley's 4th Grade Teacher.  The class contributed to a basket of grill goodies and a gift certificate, and I made this card to go with it all. It opened up to a list of names from the families participating!  Sorry the picture quality isn't great - nothing like capturing a quick photo in the car on the way to the event - such a Scrapi thing to do!
I used the Creative Basics Cherry-O, currently on my website for only $3 (regulary $7.95, for 12 sheets of adorable B&T paper. Six sheets of the plaid as featured above, and an additional six sheets of super cute brown polka dot, plus some cool ribbon).  The stamp set I used is the new SUMMER DAYS and I used the sweet leaf, chocolate, and Tulip inks.  The ribbon is from the Chocolate Collection, the brads from the Metal Collection, and photo hangers from an older CTMH accents collection!

Just perfect for a male teacher!!!  He was really touched by it all, and I received a ton of compliments on my card from the Mom's attending the party. Fun!

This is so adorable. That is one of my favorite new stamp sets. Of course, my card workshop attendee's last month heard me say that about 5 of my stamp sets. LOL I can see why the teacher would like it. Great gift idea! (Never would've thought of that.)
