Welcome to the March Stamp of the Month Blog Hop using the "Potential" stamp set - a set of 8 versatile and gorgeous stamps! The blog hop works in a big circle - if you come from Shannon Beck's site, you are on the right path. Should you get lost, click here for a complete list of participating hoppers!
The best thing about "Potential" is that it's a Cricut Art Philosophy coordinating stamp set! If you haven't gotten to try a Cricut and especially this new CTMH AP cartridge, now is the time with this fabulous stamp set. To purchase the Cricut AP Collection, click here.
Here is my artwork using this stamp set. I've been wanting to play with the My Creations Bookmark Album and I knew this stamp set would work perfectly. I paired it with the new Florentine papers, My Stickease, and lots and lots of super fun coordinating embellishments. All CTMH all the way - most of the embellishments are all new to the Spring/Summer 2012 Idea Book too, ie. Wooden shapes, color-ready ribbon, bouquet assortment, paradise flowers, baker's twine, etc, etc! I'm so happy with how it turned out and can't wait to add my pictures and journaling. It's going to be a birthday present this month for my Mom!
The only issue I had is that I made the album much too fat with all of my embellishments (got a little crazy there), so I had to cut off the cute magnetic flap. I think it still works great without them and I now know that my pages need to be very flat to use the album with the adorable closed flap. Just an excuse to make another one . . .
Following is my cover page and then the entire album page by page. I hope you like it!
It was really fun to put together. I'd love to hear your feedback! Also, please consider becoming a Scrapi blog follower (sign up on right hand column!
Now, on to Doreen Guilfoyle's blog for her beautiful artwork. Happy Hopping!!
