Love this "You Are" Stamp Set for April Blog Hop

Welcome to the April blog hop using the super cool and amazing, "You Are . . . " stamp set.  If you've come from Sheila Bennett's blog, you are in the right place.

I loved using this set for one of our many amusement park trips with my family last summer and I think it paired perfectly with the Crusin' paper, Crusin' accessories, Baker's Twine, Typeset alphabet set, and my Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge. Take a look:

Fun story about this layout. I love making my family's albums for ME and hope they like them too but I never really know if they pay as much attention to them as I do. I had this layout on the coffee table and my daughter said that one of the pics I included was from another amusement park we went to that same month.  Just the fact that she noticed the mistake made me realize she actually looked at it.  Pretty cool! It's the little things . . .

Two Choices for April - "Superhero" and "Lucy" Kits

It's not an April Fools joke - there are two kit choices, Superhero or Lucy for the month of April.  With each kit, there are four layouts available (8 pages).  Kits will be all cut and ready to go for super speedy scrapping.

Class Dates are:            Wed., April 18, 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

               Tues., April 24, 7 p.m.

                           Fri., May 4, 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. 

            (crop/makeup class)

Take a look. The cost for Superhero for 4 layouts is $33 and Lucy for 4 layouts is $33.

Twelve Month Calendar Project Makes Me Happy

Here is the 12 month calendar I did with some of my clients again this year. I love looking at it - makes me happy, both because it turned out super cute and because it reminds me how much fun we had putting it together throughout the month of last November.  You'll notice there are no dates on the calendar yet. One of the ladies had a fabulous idea - instead of rushing to make it a 2012 calendar, we decided to add pictures throughout the year and make it a 2013 calendar!  Of course, I am already three months late so I better get going. I did jump ahead and get December on because the pics I had were too perfect!  Hope you like it!!

Fun Photo Cube for Father's Day

Here's a fun photo cube project that I've put together for an upcoming class at Loudoun Valley Community Center (LVCC) on Wed., May 23, 3 - 5 p.m. for kid's ages 5 - 12 year's old.

 I used the new CTMH "Superhero" paper, Evergreen Cork Shapes, Durable Round Studs, and the "Pure Adventure" stamp set.   I also included some Shimmer Designer Brads, Outdoor Ribbon and Ribbon Slides.  Hope you like it!

Sisterhood of the Scrapi Pants

What a wonderful first team meeting of the Scrapi Sisters, aka Sisterhood of the Scrapi Pants!  I envisioned an evening sitting around the table drinking, eating and talking, and it's exactly what I got!  It doesn't get any better than that.  Between bites of Tomato & Bacon Pasta, Roasted Marinated Tomatoes with Spinach and Mozzarella, Brie with rhaspberry chipotle and crescent roll, salad, parmesan pastry puffs, and ridiculous yummy desert of three layer brownies (from Pinterest) and chocolate covered strawberries, and all got to know each other and shared our love of CTMH.
