Sip 'N Scrap Class

I am excited to have my first Sip 'N Scrap at downtown Purcellville's Above Ground Winery-Tasting Room on Wed., May 2, 7 p.m. We will scrapbook the enclosed wine-themed layout and wine tag. The cost of the class is $25 which includes all the supplies, snacks and the first glass of wine! Wine and scrapbooking - it doesn't get any better than that!!

The layout features Close To My Heart's Sonoma paper, Heirloom Assortment, Colonial White Brads, Dark Chocolate Striped Grosgrain Ribbon with Waxy Flax, and CTMH's Cricut "Art Philosophy" and Cricut "Summer In Paris" shapes.

The wine tag features CTMH's Lucy paper, Cricut Art Philosophy tag and coordinating shapes, Lucy WOTG Stamp set, and Sweet Leaf Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.

"Lasso A Stamp Set" CTMH Convention Contest Entry

I am so excited to attend my third Close To My Heart Convention this July 12 - 14 in Dallas, Texas.  To date, we have sixteen people coming from our Get Fancy and Scrapi Sisters Team so it will be a fabulous time!  I'm especially excited about all the new fun crafting time we will have this year.  It definitely will be a can't miss event so if you are not registered yet, what are you waiting for?

Following is my contest entry for the "Lasso A Stamp Set" Contest.  Our only requirement was to use the enclosed "Stars Shine Bright" postcard.  Since I'm completely and utterly obsessed with the new National Scrapbook Month promotional kit, "Dotty For You", I had to use these papers to create my layout.  My Fall Pumpkin Carving pictures went perfectly with the kit colors and it was a nice fun change from the usual Fall papers!  I'm thrilled with how it turned out!

With the "Dotty For You" papers, I also used CTMH Dimensional Elements Notable Alphabet, Stars, and Persnickety Journaling Spots - all coordinating beautifully with my Cricut Art Philosophy shapes.  I also used our fabulous new Baker's Twine and finished the layout off with both Sunset and Lagoon Mini-Medley Collection pieces.

Lucy So Pretty Just Like My Girl

CTMH's new Lucy paper is definitely up there as one of my all-time favorite paper packets. I used one of papers as my base, mixed in white daisy and olive cardstocks, images and dimensional element shapes from the Cricut Art Philosophy Collection, olive and smoothie mini-medley pieces, and finished off with one of my favorite stamp sets - Hooray Bouquet. I love how pretty this layout is for my pretty girl!!

Studio J Super Simple and Fun

In addition to the family album, I'm working on an album for my daughter's Girl Scout experiences over the last the last five years.  Loving Studio J for helping me put together some super simple, but super fun pages. Here's one I did for a recent yoga class the troop did.  The Yoga 4 Life Studio is gorgeous and incredibly serene with a wood burning stone, logs, and hanging lights so you feel nature through your practice. This older paper packet was perfect!
