I'm Dotty for "Dotty For You" Blog Hop

If you've come from Dawn Heuft's Blog for this extra special "Dotty For You" blog hop, welcome!!

I am absolutely and completely in love with this Dotty For You" kit, Close To My Heart's upcoming promotion to celebrate National Scrapbooking Month. Starting April 17th through the entire month of May, you can get this fun paper pack for only $5 or even for FREE.

This 24-pack of double-sided paper contains bold prints, bright colors, and lots of dots. "Dotty For You" is the perfect name for this pack of paper - each sheet has a complimentary color with a tiny dot pattern. Plus, as a bonus, you receive a project idea sheet with the kit too.

Following are two 2-page layouts and a birthday card that I created, plus click here for two more Dotty layouts! that I recently posted for a sneak peak, and click here for another Dotty layout for my Convention Contest entry also using Dotty.

This layout includes the July's SOTM Stamp Set - just love it too much to wait - plus Baker's Twine, pieces from Sunset and Lagoon mini-medley collections, and a Cricut AP flower.

Basic layout design without title and stamping - waiting to decide which pictures will be perfect for this layout and will add finishing pieces at that time!  CTMH's Cricut Art Philosophy shapes are the extra special touch with pieces from the pewter mini-medley collection and olive pompom ribbon.  Can't wait to finish this layout!

This card features the "Hooray Bouquet" stamp set , one of my all-time favorites fro this catalog and the sentiments from the "Just a Number" stamp set.

"Lasso A Stamp Set" CTMH Convention Contest Entry

I am so excited to attend my third Close To My Heart Convention this July 12 - 14 in Dallas, Texas.  To date, we have sixteen people coming from our Get Fancy and Scrapi Sisters Team so it will be a fabulous time!  I'm especially excited about all the new fun crafting time we will have this year.  It definitely will be a can't miss event so if you are not registered yet, what are you waiting for?

Following is my contest entry for the "Lasso A Stamp Set" Contest.  Our only requirement was to use the enclosed "Stars Shine Bright" postcard.  Since I'm completely and utterly obsessed with the new National Scrapbook Month promotional kit, "Dotty For You", I had to use these papers to create my layout.  My Fall Pumpkin Carving pictures went perfectly with the kit colors and it was a nice fun change from the usual Fall papers!  I'm thrilled with how it turned out!

With the "Dotty For You" papers, I also used CTMH Dimensional Elements Notable Alphabet, Stars, and Persnickety Journaling Spots - all coordinating beautifully with my Cricut Art Philosophy shapes.  I also used our fabulous new Baker's Twine and finished the layout off with both Sunset and Lagoon Mini-Medley Collection pieces.

I hope you like it!!
