"Jubilation" for June Blog Hop

Welcome to my Scrapi Blog.  For those of you coming from Michelle Loncar's Blog, I hope you are being inspired by the fabulous artwork from my fellow CTMH consultants for the June Stamp of the Month "Jubilation".  This 24-stamp set is so versatile that's it's not only a perfect year round set for cards but also to use as terrific accents to scrapbook pages or projects!

Although I love cards, scrapbook layouts are my passion so I wanted to show how easy and perfect this set is complimenting the Lucky Level 2 Paper Packet, Assortment and Journal Spots.

This "Birthday Hero" layout is CTMH all the way . . . with their wooden buttons, kraft borders, and dimensional element stars inked in outdoor denim ink.  Plus, my new fav "Token Alphabet" stamp set inked in Outdoor and Sunset then punched with my handy circle punch!  I finished it off with outdoor denim ribbon from the Designer Ribbon Blue Collection!

Baseball and Birthdays - it doesn't get any better than that for a pre-teen boy so to have them both on the same day . . . perfect!

Studio J Offers So Many Paper Options

I still can't get over how easy Studio J layouts are. With my "Spring Chicks" layout below, I knew I wanted to try the Bliss Paper Packet because it's such a great neutral pattern, and I wanted to play with different cardstock color choices (not the obvious ones that are recommended). I decided to try matching my daughter and her friend's shirts with the green cardstock to see if it would compliment the papers. To tie it in even more, I added the peach cardstock and chocolate ribbow. I quickly added some fun stickease, embellishments, title boxes and journaling. All in all, it took less than 30 minutes to put this layout together! I'm not sure what's the best thing though - that I loved how it all turned out or that I actually have a May 2011 layout done in May 2011!

Faster. Simpler. Easier. CTMH Never Fails Me!

I got together with a good "scrappin" friend this last weekend at the last minute.  When you have a window of opportunity, you've just got to take it! Especially since they are so far and few between with the kid's busy schedules.

Since it was last minute, I didn't have a whole lot of time to get my scrapbooking stash packed up.  So, I took a bunch of the kits that I bought from the recent Clearance, all of my newly organized and packaged CTMH embellishments, papers, inks, stamps (yeah, just a few things, right?) and headed over.

What a successful and fun night!  I was knocking the pages out so quickly and loving the results!  I became an instant fan of CTMH because I liked that it was easy to coordinate all of their projects without having to scan the aisles looking for components that will match. It truly is a fabulous system and it works.  Scrapbooking has never been faster, simpler, or easier for me!  Not that I wasn't a true believer before but you almost have to constantly show yourself how great it works, with fabulous results!!

Sweet Happy Mother's Day Project

Here is a super sweet project I did with a local Daisy troop.  The girls were really excited and enjoyed making this journal and card for their Moms. The troop leader had pictures taken of each of the girls and brought tissue paper and ribbon so the girls left the meeting with a wrapped present and signed card for their mamas all ready to go!!! They did such a great job and were a adorable group of girls!
